West Virginia’s leaders are working hard to strengthen the state’s budget, and the state’s major gaming facilities support that goal.  But it’s time to stop burdening the industry with fee after fee and tax after tax. Each year, lawmakers look to squeeze more dollars out of an industry already distributing millions upon millions to programs throughout the state. The taxes are arduous and unpredictable.

We must have the freedom to invest in our futures – and therefore invest in the state’s future.
We must modernize our gaming attractions to compete with facilities in neighboring states.
